to the Art of Sacred Facilitation.

Become the facilitator who can hold more than a powerful moment.

Build the presence, facilitation skills, and practical structure behind your retreat, circle, ceremony, or workshop.

The Art of Sacred Facilitation brings The Hold Method™ into a year of live group mentorship, supported practice, and an in-person intensive. Hold Yourself: develop your presence. Hold the Field: practice your facilitation. Hold the Offering: design your offering.

IMG_3571.jpg

You can feel the calling.
You want to know how to hold it.

Perhaps you’ve left a retreat thinking,  I’m meant to do this.

You have a practice. Training. A gift people already recognize.
People open up to you, and you care deeply about what happens when they do.

But feeling the pull and knowing how to lead are different things.

You may still be wondering:

  •  “Who am I to hold space for others?”

  • “What happens if something comes up that I don’t know how to meet?”

  • “How do I turn everything I’ve learned into an offering that feels like mine?”

  • “Where do I even begin with the venue, the flow, and all the details?”

  • Will people actually come?”

Or perhaps you’ve already led a workshop or gathering and realized how much you’re carrying alone.

You don’t need someone to tell you your calling is real.

You need somewhere to develop the capacity, discernment, and practical preparation to act on it responsibly.

 I had years of training.

I still needed to learn how to bring the work together.

Courtney446.jpg

Before Wholesome Alchemy, I spent ten years teaching in the classroom, worked towards my master’s in Teaching and Education, and helped open three different schools in West Africa.

Alongside teaching, I kept studying: yoga, herbalism, Ayurveda, Qi-Gong, meditation, Chinese medicine, and Cha Dao in China and Taiwan. I spent time in India and in ashrams.

I loved learning. People naturally opened up to me. But I hadn’t yet built a container that brought all of that together.

I tried teaching in more than six yoga studios. Yet the work I wanted to offer extended beyond the physical practice. I kept trying to fit something immersive into a format that didn’t feel right.

Then I started noticing a pattern. Someone would come to a single class, a workshop, or a sound bath and leave feeling open and moved. Then they went home to the same environment, and within days everything went back to how it was.

One beautiful experience wasn’t enough. People needed more time to actually feel what was moving in them, and to let it change something.

So I stopped trying to fit transformation into a single session. I started building longer containers, with time to open, time to feel, a real closing, and support for bringing the work home.

And despite years of degrees and certifications, I still needed to learn the practical work of creating a retreat: finding venues, working with chefs, understanding contracts, and bringing the experience together.

There was another responsibility I couldn’t ignore.

I had seen people opened into painful experiences without enough support afterward. I didn’t want to create a powerful moment and leave someone alone with what it stirred.

In 2020, I founded Wholesome Alchemy and began building my own way of working.

Through leading six to eight retreats a year, I developed an approach around the full arc of the experience: opening, feeling, moving through, closing, and bringing the work home to integrate.

“She differs from other coaches I’ve worked with in the variety of ways she helps you integrate the lessons learned both during and after.”

— Nikki Fielding, who has attended five Wholesome Alchemy retreats

I also learned that my own way of leading mattered. Working from force left me burned out. I needed a rhythm I could genuinely sustain.

Over 50 retreats, one lesson became central:

The quality of holding is not an accessory to the experience.

It is part of the work itself.

That quality involves skills we can develop.

Preparation we can practice.

Decisions we can learn to make with greater care.

The Art of Sacred Facilitation brings those lessons into a year of mentorship, so you can build your own offering with guidance, rather than piece every part together alone.

Don’t open what you can’t close.

A beautiful venue and a moving ceremony can be part of a retreat. They are not the whole responsibility.

It’s easy to mistake the most visible moment.....the tears, the release, the breakthrough...for the entire transformation. But intensity alone doesn’t tell us whether an experience has been held well.

Here, we value care over spectacle, discernment over performance, and preparation over the appearance of effortlessness.

“Don’t open what you can’t close” is a principle of responsibility, not a promise that a facilitator can resolve everything someone brings into a room.

It means respecting the limits of your role. Thinking beyond the opening. Making room for closure and integration. Knowing that a participant’s experience matters more than creating an impressive moment.

When the focus is only on the event:

  • “What will make this feel powerful?”

  • Build around the venue and activities

  • Wait until you feel completely ready

  • Push through your own depletion

When the focus is on responsible facilitation:

  • “What preparation and care does this experience require?”

  • Build around the purpose, people, and full arc

  • Develop readiness through supported practice

  • Learn to lead from a more grounded, sustainable place

You don’t have to become someone louder, more magnetic, or more like me.

You do need a way to develop your own capacity and put it into practice.

The Hold Method™

1. Hold Yourself

Develop the grounding you bring into the room.

We begin with your presence, steadiness, and relationship to pressure.

You’ll explore how to stay connected to yourself while leading, rather than slipping into performance or pushing beyond your capacity.

The aim is not to become a person who never feels uncertainty. It is to build a more grounded relationship with it.

2. Hold the Field

Practice caring for the experience, not just leading the activity.

Develop your energetic leadership alongside your attention to the people in front of you.

You’ll practice creating an intentional space, being present with what emerges, and considering the full arc....not only the opening or emotional peak.

Presence matters. So do preparation, discernment, and an understanding of your limits.

3. Hold the Offering

Give your work a form you can actually lead.

Bring your retreat, workshop, ceremony, circle, or group container into a complete design.

Work through its structure, logistics, flow, and preparation so your vision becomes more than a collection of ideas.

Think of it as tending both the gathering and the ground beneath it. What participants experience depends in part on what you’ve prepared before they arrive.

What our year together looks like

This is a live mentorship and practice experience, not a library you’re expected to work through alone.

Four live calls each month

  • Teaching call — Develop the skills and understanding behind sacred facilitation, so you have more than intuition to rely on.

  • Q&A and hot seat call — Bring the real questions arising as you develop your offering. Receive guidance rather than staying stuck in your own thinking.

  • Alignment and energetic call — Explore receiving, inviting your people, and leading from alignment rather than urgency or force.

  • Practice and preparation call — Put the learning into practice, so it becomes something you can work with, not simply something you understand.

A four-day, in-person intensive

  • Bring the work into the room.

  • You’ll practice holding space in real time and receive reflection as you develop your way of leading.

  • Four days, Thursday through Sunday, in Florida, in August or September 2027. Exact dates and location are shared with enrolled members.

  • Lunch is provided each day. Travel, lodging, and other meals are your responsibility.

Wholesome Alchemy vault access for founding enrollees

  • Receive access to the course and program library, including Activated Alchemist, with access available before the live program begins.

  • Use it to support your learning, not as a substitute for the live practice and mentorship.

Retreat relationships and practical resources

  • Draw on my retreat-center relationships and trusted recommendations for caterers, chefs, photographers, and facilitators.

  • You’ll have a place to begin your research rather than starting every conversation from scratch. Each offering will still require its own decisions, agreements, and preparation.

Graduate visibility

  • Graduates’ offerings will be featured on the Wholesome Alchemy website for our community to discover.

  • It is an additional way for people to encounter your work, not a promise of bookings.

A certification supported by practice,

not just attendance

Upon completion of the year-long journey, you’ll receive your Art of Sacred Facilitation Certification. It reflects the training, practice, embodiment, and leadership development you’ve completed within this program. The training lasts 12 months from your start date. Your certification does not expire, and your program hours count toward Yoga Alliance continuing education credits.

To complete your certification: take part in the monthly calls (live or by replay), attend the in-person intensive, and complete the design of your own offering.

The aim is that you finish with:

  • A fully designed offering ready to share

  • A stronger foundation in presence, care, and discernment

  • Practical clarity around the structure and logistics

  • Experience practicing with support and reflection

  • A clearer understanding of your responsibilities as a facilitator

This is a program certification. It should not be understood as a clinical license or a qualification to provide mental-health treatment.

The experience behind this training

My facilitation experience includes:

  • 50+ retreats and hundreds of participants served

  • Approximately 70% returning participants, with many returning three to six times

  • 150+ video testimonials from participants

  • A decade of classroom teaching and 1,600+ registered training hours

If you’ve attended one of my retreats, this year is an opportunity to study the work beneath the experience.

If we haven’t worked together, take time to hear from participants and ask questions before deciding whether this is the right mentorship for you.

Testimonials

“Transformational. That is how I would describe working with Courtney. I came to her ready for growth but not knowing where to start. The self growth I experienced affirmed the direction I was going. Since working with Courtney I have made HUGE moves in my life thanks to her empowerment.

I have stepped into my own power and am grateful every day. I continue to build my business successfully, I have walked away from relationships that don't serve my higher self and I practice unconditional self love daily. I show up because I want to make a positive impact in this world. I am so grateful for Courtney. I recommend her to anyone and everyone ready to make a positive impact in their lives!!"

- Courtney Lewallen
(Owner of Traverse Beyond)

“Courtney offers a transformative experience to delve into and strengthen the relationship and appreciation within and for ourselves as the unique and valuable beings that we each are. Courtney is an extremely special person with expansive knowledge, professionalism and experience. She truly wants to see every human achieve their highest version of self and is extremely well-equipped to aid you in your journey. She has the ability to really listen. To every single person. She creates a safe container, and puts her students first.

While working with Courtney my expectations were completely blown away. I felt that I was able to reconnect with the “real me”, the most authentic part of me (and literally connected face to face with my higher self!). This provided the clarity that I was seeking, along with deep healing, and a brighter outlook on life as a whole. I have made physical moves to take my life in a new direction -- one that I feel promises more freedom and a brighter, broader perspective on how I relate to everything I encounter in my day to day life.”

- Andrea Vanderbilt
(Owner of Teach Me To Grow)

“ Courtney is like a member of your family, because she is Soul Family. She naturally loves you without effort. It never felt forced like with other coaches and mentors. She is open to your input and always there to provide wisdom from her own experiences. She is both someone I look up to and that I can relate to right now. It felt amazing to experience such comfortability and connection with someone.

Courtney’s offerings are loving, inspiring and transforming. She combines her gentle nature with her innovative experiences to create space for loving change. There is no shame, no need to fault the past, only to be in the moment you are working with her. Show up, be present and listen to her teachings - that is how you will experience nurturing transformation and powerful shifts in consciousness.

Soulfully, I can surely say
Courtney’s encouragement of us to see ourselves as “God beings” has reshaped my world. Not only being a part of God but one with God has cleansed my soul.”

- Jill Kelly

“I felt like a huge weight was lifted off of me, I feel happy again. I love myself now, I believe in myself, I know that I am worth it. I can and will do what makes me happy. I feel more at peace with myself. I am confident in my decision making process because I feel I am more in touch with my higher power! I know that the choices I make will be what is best for me.

Courtney is a beautiful soul that really cares about everyone. She only wants you to full your greatest calling and is willing to help you in any way she can. I have only worked with a therapist which I feel didn’t get me anywhere. It’s hard to find a genuine, authentic, honest-to-goodness person who really cares about you!

Courtney gives you the tools to help you get in touch with yourself. She helps you reach your highest potential by guiding you through each powerful experience. Courtney is a genuine person and trusting her to guide you through your journey will be one of the best things you can do for yourself.”

- Ann Terrazas

““Before working with Courtney I was frustrated. I had a very in depth spiritual practice but was struggling to make sense of mastering this earthly dimension, grounding all of my manifestations into reality, and harnessing the power of the healing relationship with Mother Earth.

Now I allow myself more grace. Honoring feelings as they come, calling on support when needed, and knowing that I can return to living the embodiment of love at any time.

Courtney is such a special soul. She is truly living her life purpose guiding others to awaken and remember their own power and live their purpose to serve and make a positive impact on the world. She differs from other coaches I’ve worked with in the variety of ways she helps you integrate the lessons learned both during and after.

Courtney is so gifted at dropping into her expansive heart center and holding this space for her clients and community. Witnessing the power that this space has to transmute fears and alchemize pain and suffering into love is a gift in itself. Observing these shifts personally is truly transformational.

To quote Courtney “the moment something crosses your awareness it’s yours to address.”
If working with her has crossed your awareness, accept it as the sign from your soul, that she is the guide for you at this point in your journey and fall into trust once you make that decision forces beyond your wildest dreams will conspire to show you the way to make it happen.”

- Nikki Fielding

Thinking about the return

People often ask what leading retreats has looked like for me financially, so I’ll share it plainly.

Over seven years and more than 50 retreats, my retreats have typically generated between $10,000 and $60,000 in profit each.

That range reflects years of relationships, a returning community, and plenty of learning along the way. My first retreats did not look like my later ones.

Your numbers will depend on things like:

  • How you price your offering

  • How many participants you hold

  • Your venue, food, travel, and team costs

  • The community you’ve built and how you invite people in

We’ll work through these numbers together during our year, so you can price and plan your offering with clarity instead of guesswork.

These figures describe my own experience and are not a projection or guarantee of your earnings.

A full year. A considered investment.

The standard investment in The Art of Sacred Facilitation is $20,000.

Founding-cohort investment: $15,000 (Those enrolled before we begin in January)

The founding price reflects the nature of this first cohort: you’ll participate as the program is developed and taught live.

After December 31st 2026, the investment becomes $20,000.

Your year includes the live mentorship, practice calls, in-person intensive, certification upon completion, resource network, and graduate website feature. Eligible early enrollees also receive the Wholesome Alchemy vault.

A non-refundable $500 deposit holds your spot and goes toward your total investment.

Payment plan: after your $500 deposit, pay $3,000 on January 1, 2027, then $1,050 per month for the following 11 months.

What happens after you apply

1. Download the application with the Apply button, complete it, and email it to courtney@wholesomealchemy.com.

2. I read every application personally and reply within 5 days.

3. If it feels like a fit for both of us, you'll receive your enrollment agreement. Your $500 deposit secures your place in the founding cohort, which begins in January 2027.

Our commitment to you

  • You will not be expected to figure this out from a collection of recordings.

  • You’ll have a full year of teaching, questions, practice, reflection, and preparation as you build your offering.

  • Your participation matters: showing up, practicing, bringing your real questions, and completing the work are part of the commitment.

  • I cannot guarantee who will book your future retreat, what you will earn, or what specific outcomes participants will experience.

  • What I can stand behind is the support described here: a structured space to learn, practice, receive guidance, and develop your offering.

  • This is a commitment to the mentorship experience, not an earnings guarantee or a refund promise.

Questions you may be holding

  • “Who am I to hold space for others?”

You don’t need to have finished your own growth before you can begin learning to facilitate.

But caring deeply is not the same as being prepared.

This year gives you a place to develop readiness through teaching, practice, and reflection and to become more discerning about what you are and are not equipped to hold.

  • “I’ve been on retreats. Don’t I already know how they work?”

Being a participant gives you valuable perspective.

It doesn’t necessarily show you the preparation, logistics, or decisions happening underneath the experience.

This mentorship takes you into that work, then gives you opportunities to practice rather than asking you to learn everything while leading your own participants.

  • “Will this help me fill my retreat?”

There is support around inviting your people, along with practical resources and graduate visibility.

There is no guarantee that your retreat will fill. Your offering, audience, pricing, costs, and outreach all matter.

My own retreat revenue is not a forecast for your business, and it would not be responsible to promise that one retreat will repay your investment.

  • “Why a whole year?”

Because understanding something and being able to work with it are different.

The year creates room to learn, practice, ask questions, revise your offering, and integrate what you’re discovering.

The live rhythm is four calls per month, roughly one each week, plus the in-person intensive.

  • “Is this private coaching or a group program?”

The experience described here is a year-long group mentorship, with live teaching, hot seats, and shared practice.

It should not be understood as private 1:1 coaching unless that access is separately confirmed.

  • “Is this only for women?”

No. While much of this invitation speaks to women who recognize themselves in my story, men are welcome too.

The important question is your fit with the work and your willingness to practice with care.

  • “How do I know whether the founding cohort is right for me?”

It may suit you if you want a live, developing experience and are comfortable contributing questions and feedback as the work takes shape.

If you need a fully finalized curriculum before committing, ask to review what is established and what is still being developed.

That is a reasonable part of your decision.

You don’t have to rush it into the world.

You also don’t have to wait for certainty to arrive on its own.

If you’re ready to develop your facilitation with care and give your offering the structure it needs, let’s explore whether this year is the right support.
