Wholesome Alchemy's RYT teaches on traditional yogic principles and history, along with embodiment and integration of personal truth.  Offering the most authentic yoga teacher training available.

Courtney Bohlman:

Parveen Nair: Shri Parveen Nair is a uniquely inspiring teacher. He is best known for his ability to help students and teachers embody a spiritual practice in Yoga. He has refined his methods of teaching in the Advaita Vedanta school of thought. His non-dualistic approach towards Yoga has allowed his students to build an authentic Yoga practice.

 

Parveen has spent many of his years studying under Karin O’Bannon a Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher and later in Pune under the guidance of Guruji BKS Iyengar and his family. Later obtaining his certification in Iyengar yoga, Parveen founded Swarupa Iyengar Yoga Studio and co-founded Yoga Sadhana in Malaysia and had natured many to the path of Yoga.

 

Parveen takes a simple, direct, fun and sublime approach towards yoga. As he would say, change in action is not spirituality but change in attitude is.

 

Uttam Ghosh:

Uttam Ghosh was born in Rishikesh, India the Yoga Capital of the World. His fascination for yoga developed in his early childhood when he experienced the‘bhakti’ form of yoga with his grandfather. His curiosity for yoga led him to explore and study the mystic life force of yoga.

 

He studied Yoga at various prestigious Institutes obtaining various certifications: Diploma in Yoga from Sri Ma Yoga International School and Teacher Training Certification from Ashtanga Yoga Mysore with a International Certification from Yoga Alliance USA and in an ERYT 500. He also have completed Masters in Yoga from Uttrakhand Sanskrit University.

 

His strength is in guiding people into deeper techniques of meditation. His passion is to bring out ancient techniques of meditation to common man and help them integrate that into their daily life. Through hard work, dedication and experience, he was initiated into the KundaliniYoga Path by Swami Vidyananda.

 

Louis (Ramana):

Co-founder of Yoga Sadhana , Malaysia. Louis Lim or Ramana (name initiated by his Guru), is an International Teacher Trainer and has been learning Yoga since 2008
under the tutelage of his Guru, Acharya Shri Parveen Nair. Louis also had the opportunity to study directly under the late Guruji BKS Iyengar and his family, the late Geeta Iyengar.

 

“Understanding function not anatomy” is the essence of Louis’s teaching in Anatomy & Physiology. As fascinated by the subject, he has systematically developed a unique teaching methodology integrating his knowledge on human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics into his training. This includes the thinking body, the moving body, the instinctive body and the emotional body, with all its sensory awareness to experience embodiment, making his classes experiential and fun. Louis has co-trained and certified more than 100 qualified Yoga instructors both locally and internationally.

Typical Schedule, Monday- Saturday:

  • 6:00-7:00am : Asana Practice 

  • 7:00-7:30am: Meditation Practice

  • 7:30- 8:30am: Breakfast

  • 8:30-9:50am: Teaching Methodology & Lifestyle/Ethics 

  • 10:00am-10:30am: Pranyama

  • 11:00-12:00: Philosophy

  • 12:00-2:00pm: Lunch & Break

  • 2:00-3:00pm: Meditation Studies

  • 3:15-4:15pm: Anatomy & Physiology

  • 4:45-6:45pm: Alignment/Sequencing

  • 6:45-8:00pm Dinner & Break

  • 8:00-8:30pm: Yoga Nidra (Mon, Wed, Fri) 

  • 8:00-9:00pm: Saturday Kirtan 2x (2 hrs)
