The Art Of Being - Weekend Retreat
The Art of Being
An Exhale Retreat for Rest, Presence & What’s Next
A restorative, embodied weekend for leaders, space-holders, and heart-led women ready to put down the weight of what they carry, return to themselves, and meet what’s next from a place of fullness.
You are allowed to exhale.
There comes a moment when more effort is not the answer.
When you are moving quickly through a life you deeply care about...holding the vision, tending to people, making decisions, creating the work, carrying responsibility...and somewhere within it all, longing for a moment to simply be.
Not to facilitate.
Not to pour from yourself.
Not to have the answer.Just to be held.
The Art of Being is an intimate retreat for the woman who has been holding so much and is ready to make space for herself.
A space to soften the urgency. To quiet the mental noise. To reconnect with your body, breath, and the present moment. To remember that rest is not something you have to earn.
This is not simply a weekend to slow down your schedule. It is an invitation to slow down internally, to return to the pace of your own body, let your nervous system settle, and hear what is true beneath the noise.
For the Woman Who Holds Space for Everyone Else
Maybe you are the one people turn toward.
You hold the vision. You create the containers. You listen deeply. You make the decisions. You lead the team, family, community, movement, or room.
You may be a founder, guide, healer, artist, mother, facilitator, executive, caregiver, or a woman creating change in the way only you can.
You know presence matters. You may already have practices that support you. Yet knowing what you need and giving yourself space to truly receive it can be two very different things.
Perhaps you have become so practiced at holding others that you have forgotten what it feels like to be held yourself.
This retreat is an opportunity to set down the roles for a while, not because your work does not matter, but because the woman carrying the vision matters, too.
Here, you do not need to lead the conversation, make anyone comfortable, hold the emotional temperature of the room, or make your rest productive.
You get to arrive as a whole human being.
You get to receive.
A Weekend to Rest, Return, Release & Renew
The Art of Being is a carefully curated experience of embodied rest, intentional reflection, meaningful connection, and spaciousness.
Over the weekend, you’ll be invited into a gentler rhythm, one that honors your body, gives your mind room to breathe, and creates space for what is quietly asking to emerge within you.
Every offering is an invitation. Participate fully, rest deeply, take time alone, connect with others, or follow your own internal rhythm. Your only job is to listen to yourself.
REST — Give your nervous system space to soften through unhurried mornings, quiet moments, nourishing practices, and time that is not asking anything of you.
RETURN — Come back to your body, breath, inner knowing, and the parts of yourself that become harder to access when life feels full.
RELEASE — Honor what feels complete. Put down expectations, roles, stories, responsibilities, and pressure that are no longer yours to carry.
RENEW — Through rest and presence, create the conditions for your next season to reveal itself naturally.
What You’ll Experience
- Daily yoga and embodied movement
- Guided meditation and nervous-system-softening practices
- Tea ceremonies and intentional ritual
- Journaling, reflection, and integration
- Time for stillness, nature, wandering, naps, and receiving
- Meaningful conversation with other heart-led women
- A seasonal ritual to honor what you are releasing and welcome what is emerging
You are not coming to do more.
You are coming to remember another way of being.
Rest Is Part of the Work
For a woman devoted to impact, slowing down can feel complicated. When there is so much to tend to, care for, create, or change, it can feel easier to keep moving.
To make rest small.
To make joy conditional.
To place your needs at the bottom of the list.
But your rest is not separate from your leadership.
Your presence is part of your power. Your softness is not separate from your strength. Your relationship with yourself shapes everything you create, lead, and offer.
When you are resourced, connected, and internally spacious, you have greater access to intuition, creativity, discernment, and capacity.
You are not here to become less devoted. You are here to become sustainably devoted.
This Retreat Is For You If…
- You are a leader, founder, guide, artist, healer, caregiver, facilitator, mother, or space-holder who gives generously to others.
- You are committed to meaningful work, community, or change and want to lead without leaving yourself behind.
- You are moving through a transition, completion, identity shift, or undefined “what’s next.”
- You are craving emotional, spiritual, and internal rest—not only physical rest.
- You are ready to receive without needing to earn it first.
A Closing, and an Opening
After almost seven years of creating and holding retreat spaces inside Wholesome Alchemy, this will be my final retreat offering, at least in the way I have been offering them.
This gathering carries profound tenderness for me: an opportunity to honor an entire chapter with gratitude, presence, and spaciousness.
To close without rushing, forcing, or grasping for what is next.
Just here. Honoring what has been. Releasing what is complete. Trusting that what comes next does not need to be chased.
We will gather over Halloween weekend, a natural threshold in the year: a time to reflect, let go, and make space for what is ready to emerge.
If you are standing at the edge of a chapter, ready to honor the woman you have been and welcome the woman you are becoming, this space is for you.
Your Invitation
Come exactly as you are.
Come tired. Come hopeful. Come uncertain. Come in a season of becoming. Come if you have been holding it all together. Come if you have forgotten what it feels like to let someone else hold the container.
You do not have to have it all figured out before you arrive.
You only have to be willing to give yourself the space to breathe.
The Art of Being is your invitation to pause, soften, and return to yourself...from the inside out.
